Use Cases

Boost helps improve the shopping journey in many ways:

1. Instant Search Results

When customers type in the search bar, results update live — they don’t have to press enter or load a new page. They see the most relevant products immediately.

2. Smart Suggestions

As someone types, Boost offers useful suggestions like:

  • Matching products
  • Relevant collections
  • Popular searches
  • Store pages

3. Filter by What Matters

Let your shoppers narrow results by:

  • Price range (e.g. $10–$50)
  • Brand or vendor
  • Product type (e.g. skincare, supplements)
  • Tags (e.g. “organic”, “gluten-free”)

4. Sorting Options That Fit Your Business

Boost includes 25+ sorting choices, such as:

  • Best-selling
  • Lowest price first
  • Newest arrivals
  • Alphabetical (A–Z)
  • Customer ratings

5. Flexible Collection Browsing

You can use Boost to power your collection pages, allowing the same search, filter, and sorting tools within specific product groups.

Troubleshooting / FAQ

Q: Can Boost show “Trending Searches” like the website?

A: Boost currently does not offer a built-in “Trending Searches” feature for the homepage. If you see this on your website, it may have been created separately and not through Boost.

Q: Filters are not showing up. What could be wrong?

A: Double-check that “Build Filter Tree” is turned on in your Boost settings in the Studio dashboard. If it’s already on, the issue may be with how your product data is structured — reach out to your support contact for help reviewing that.

Q: Why are some filters showing even though no products match them?

A: If you have “Zero Options” turned on, Boost will still show filters even when no matching products are available. To hide those, turn this setting off.

Q: How do I make sure only in-stock products appear in results?

A: In the Boost settings, make sure the “Product Availability” option is turned on.

Q: I made changes in Boost, but don’t see updates in the app. What should I do?

A: Most changes apply immediately. If you don’t see updates, try refreshing the app or checking if your product data has synced correctly. You can also contact support to confirm.

Q: Do I need a developer to change any settings?

A: Not at all. Boost is fully self-serve — everything can be updated from your Studio dashboard without any code or technical knowledge.
