About ClickPost

Clickpost helps you deliver a better post-purchase experience by showing customers when they can expect their orders and whether Cash on Delivery (COD) is available at their location. It provides estimated delivery dates based on the customer’s pincode, checks if an area is serviceable, and displays this information clearly on the product page.

Clickpost can also support order tracking pages and push notifications, giving your customers real-time updates about their shipment status. This helps reduce support queries and improves customer trust and satisfaction.

ClickPost and Appbrew

Use Cases

Here are a few common ways merchants use the Clickpost integration:

  • Show estimated delivery dates on product pages: Help customers plan their purchase by telling them when to expect delivery before they place an order.
  • Highlight COD availability: Automatically inform customers if COD is available for their pincode.
  • Reduce return-related confusion: With clear delivery timelines, customers are more likely to wait for deliveries and less likely to cancel orders.
  • Support branded tracking pages (where applicable): Some stores use Clickpost to create in-app tracking pages where customers can check their order status using a link or Order ID.
  • Enable loyalty point automation (with additional tools): When returns are processed, Clickpost can help sync refund events with loyalty platforms, so customers get their points back.

FAQs

1. Why is no delivery date showing for some pincodes?

This usually means Clickpost doesn't have active courier serviceability for that area. Ensure the pincode is valid and supported by your shipping partners.

2. Customers are seeing “Not serviceable” messages. What should I do?

This happens when COD and prepaid shipping are both unavailable for a pincode. You can check serviceability settings in your Clickpost dashboard or contact Clickpost support for more details.

3. COD is available but not showing on the site.

Make sure your COD settings are enabled both in Clickpost and your store’s shipping settings. Also double-check the entered pincode is valid.

4. What is the “Predicted SLA API” option and should I enable it?

This feature uses Clickpost’s algorithm to estimate delivery time more accurately based on courier data. Enable this for better delivery estimates, especially if you ship from multiple warehouses or locations.

5. Can Clickpost show a full tracking page in my app?

Yes. If enabled, Clickpost can create a branded tracking page linked to the customer’s order. This feature may require additional setup with Clickpost’s support team.

6. Do I need a developer to set this up?

No. The integration is fully self-serve and can be completed through your Studio dashboard in a few minutes.

7. What if I already use Appbrew’s own Estimated Delivery Date feature?

Clickpost is an alternative option. You can choose the one that fits your logistics setup better. If you need help deciding, reach out to the support team.
